  • What are the Payment Methods Available?

  • Can I update my order?
    Yes. You can add to your order from our website, or by calling our contact centre for the duration of the day on which you start your order (e.g. if you have placed your order on Saturday morning, you have until 11:59 pm on the same day to update your order.)
  • Do you provide customised or personalised jewellery items as well?
    At present we do not provide personalised jewellery items as our jewellery is first manufactured and then showcased for sale rather than manufactured after taking the order.
  • What if I don’t know my ring size?
    Don't worry, you can download our mobile app 'Gemporia Ring Sizer' from Android Play Store or iTunes on your Smartphone to help find your perfect ring size.
  • Do you sell gift cards or gift certificates?
    It’s always a great idea to gift jewellery to your loved ones. However, instead of a gift card or gift certificate, we believe in presenting a precious piece of jewellery to your loved ones, as it adds sentimental value.
  • How does the reverse deal work?
    We take pride in bringing the world’s finest gemstones and manufacturing the most authentic jewellery for you. We sell every piece that we produce. To do this, we present the fascinating reverse auction. In the reverse auction, our customers decide the right price for a product. We keep dropping the price on the screen, and as our customers call in or bid online, the quantity available decreases. To avoid missing out, be sure to call in as soon as you can. The best part about the reverse auction is that no matter when you enter the auction, you always pay the final low price.
  • Can I place an order online?
    Yes, you can place an order online on our website. To do so, register and create an account under your name.
  • Are there any hidden costs?
    No, there are no hidden costs. The price shown is inclusive of all.
  • Does the price include making charges?
    We don’t break our prices down in to charges for gold, gemstones and making. The price you see is the price you pay.
  • What do you mean by the 'Start Price'?
    Start Price is the price that we feel is reflective of similar pieces of jewellery sold in other retail environments.
  • I want to place an order to gift it to someone. How can I do that?
    You can place an order to gift via our contact centre or through the website. Please change the shipping address to where you want the product to be delivered when you place your order.
  • Do I need to set up an account if I order through your website?
    We want to save the time of our customers when they shop with us; hence we encourage our customers to set up an account on our website for an easy shopping experience.
  • Will I get the order confirmation via e-mail or text message or any other means?
    Yes you will get an order confirmation via email and updates by email or SMS for important stages in the order process.
DELIVERY
  • Are there any delivery charges?
    No, we do not charge you for delivery when you make an order. We provide a free delivery service nationwide.
  • How is the product delivered and when can I expect to receive my order?
    Our products are delivered through insured delivery services. We usually dispatch the orders that we receive within 24 hours, and you should receive your jewellery within two to five days. For your peace of mind, all parcels are trackable.
  • Can I change my shipping address after I have placed an order?
    Once we’ve packed your order, we can’t change the shipping address. If you call us, we’ll let you know whether we’ve packed your order and if not we’ll change your address for you.
  • Is COD available in my area?
    We provide Cash on Delivery option to most of the metropolitan and urban areas. When you supply your pin code in the checkout process, we’ll let you know if COD is available.
  • What if the product gets misplaced or stolen during the transit?
    All the products delivered by us are sent by reputable express courier companies and are completely insured. In the event your product is misplace or stolen during transit, we will deliver again.
  • I stay nearby your office or warehouse. Can I collect my product directly from your office?
    Unfortunately, we do not offer a collection service. We send all products through courier services only.
RETURNS
  • How can I return an item?
    All items come with a 30 day return guarantee, starting on the day you receive your jewellery. Please note that the jewellery tag must not be removed and the second partition on earring packaging must not be opened. All original packaging and the authenticity certificate must be included with the return. To return any item, please follow the simple steps below:
    • Step 1: Call us on 1800 3000 0010 within 30 days of receiving your jewellery to get a returns request number. Mention the same return request number on your returns form and slip.
    • Step 2: Fill in the returns form overleaf, choosing if you want a replacement, return or credit to buy more jewellery from us.
    • Step 3: Securely package your return and include all original packaging, authenticity certificate and the returns form.
    • Step 4: Cut out the returns slip from your invoice and attach to the outside of your return.
    • Step 5: Please use a fully insured and tracked method of postage to return items to us at the address on the returns slip.
  • If I return items, how is my money refunded?
    Wherever possible, we’ll refund your money by the same method you used to purchase from us. If this is not possible, for example if you paid by cash on delivery, we’ll refund you by cheque.
JEWELLERY
  • Is my jewellery authentic and certified?
    Absolutely. All our genuine gemstone jewellery is issued with an authenticity certificate.
  • Where is your jewellery manufactured?
    We manufacture our jewellery in different plants that are located in various parts of the country. We believe in producing exclusive jewellery and use genuine gemstones and precious metals to manufacture our jewellery pieces in limited runs.
  • What does a "Carat" mean and how much does one actually weigh?
    The word "Carat" comes from the Greek name for a seed, which was first used in ancient times as a measure of weight. One carat is equal to 0.2 grams, about the same weight as a paperclip.
    Don't confuse carat with karat, as in “18K gold,” which refers to the purity of the gold.
  • What is the difference between 9, 14, 18, 22 and 24 K Gold?
    24 karat gold is the purest form of Gold, and is seen only in bullion bars. Gold is an extremely soft metal which loses particles if used or handled a lot, so other metals must be added to strengthen it before it can be made into jewellery or coins (because you don’t really want precious gold particles being lost by rubbing off on your skin and clothes). 22 karat gold is 91.6% Pure Gold – if you divide the mass by 24, then 22/24 parts of it by mass are pure gold.
    18 karat gold is 75% Pure Gold – that is, 18/24 parts of it are pure gold.
    14 karat gold is 58.3% Pure Gold – that is 14/24 parts of it are pure gold, and the remaining 41.6% is other metal content.
    9 karat gold is 37.5% Pure Gold – that is 9/24 parts of it are pure gold and the remaining 62.5% is other metal content.
  • Why do pure metals need to be mixed with other metals?
    The reason behind mixing the metals is to make it more durable in the shape we mould and to prevent any damage.
  • Do you provide repair services for your products?
    Yes. If the product becomes faulty after the 30-day return guarantee, but within six months of the purchase, we will offer our choice of refund, replacement or repair provided the fault hasn’t been caused by misuse.
  • Do you provide product trials, before one can buy the product?
    Unfortunately, we do not provide product trials before purchase as every product is manufactured in a limited quantity. However, we provide a 30 day return facility so that if you don’t want to keep the product we will refund your money back once returned.
  • What are the statutes of the hallmark stamp?
